Ghost Town: My One-Woman Play & The Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon

I'm making my stage debut...as a writer and solo performer! You are cordially invited to attend the staged performance of GHOST TOWN, a one-woman show about the 'Anglophone Crisis' currently taking place in the central African nation of Cameroon. The country has been under a dark cloud for the past three years, and while peaceful protests quickly escalated to violence, death and the displacement of many citizens, there's very little awareness about Cameroon's current political turmoil in the international arena.

Why do I care, you might ask? I was born in Cameroon. I have many relatives who live there; some of whom have been directly impacted by the current conflict. I have friends and acquaintances whose family members have lost their lives in the most tragic ways. There isn't much I can do, but rather than remain in a state of despair about the tragedy of it all, I've decided to exercise whatever power I have and utilize my voice as an artist to share the stories of the people involved.

GHOST TOWN will have it's world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival with performances on June 8, 19, 22, 27 and 30 (times are listed below). If you happen to be in Los Angeles on any of those dates, I would love for you to stop by and check it out.
